I am interested in importing a Jeep Cherokee from the UK, better specs than Irish models, however when I checked how much the VRT was going to be, it gave the value of the Jeep to be around 25K and the VRT was around 8K. In fact the value of the Jeep over here is somewhere in the region of 15-16K. Is there anything I can do to avoid paying such high VRT.
Please help.
